Brigitte Lagassé is a first time author who was inspired to write this book after her many years of working with children and youth in schools, group homes and clubs. She has a "joie de vivre" that she says can get her through anything. Brigitte lives in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada with her husband and two children. She takes full-time care of he special needs son and intends to write more in the future.
