Suzanne trained in horticulture, was a Port Quarantine Officer. She followed her passion for plants into landscape design, was head gardener at a Science and Research Centre, served on the executive for the Royal Institute of N.Z. Horticulture, initiated N.W. Auckland garden club. She runs workshops, speaks at conferences and maintains a private practice in Langley B.C. Canada.
