My name is Helena Farcke. I was born in and still live close to Berlin. I am still in school and like to play the cello in my free time.
Ever since I was a child, writing has been an integral part of my life. If you didn' t find me nosedeep in a book, I would be scribbling away in my notes. My dream to become an author has only intensified over the years - because I believe there are stories to be told everywhere we look.
I' ve always liked bittersweet themes and wanted to go for something entirely human but also beyond human for this book, and thus came the idea to mind. I think as someone who has barely seen the world yet myself it' s been an amazing experience putting myself into the shoes of something immortal. For me, writing means seeing the world through a different lense. And sometimes, I believe if you look closely, there is a bit of magic in that lense.
