Peter approaches the flyer point game uniquely from the perspective of a bio-scientist, drawing upon his experience in strategy theory and behavior, and ecological and genetic systems. He also draws upon his 30-years of experience as a business consultant to communicate the complex in simple terms. He has developed multimedia marketing and dozens of corporate training programs across various industries from aviation to telecommunications, and from conservation management to the resources sector. He has prepared feasibility study reports for a number of multi-billion-dollar global engineering projects. Peter was first introduced to airline loyalty programs nearly 40 years ago by his father, a globetrotting expert in squeezing the system for cheap travel. Peter then embarked upon the painful learning process to master every aspect of the flyer point game. He lost a whole hire car on his way to Honolulu Airport, when earning his very first flyer points, spilt his predeparture champagne on his initial first-class reward flight from Sydney to London, and mislaid the draft of this entire book by accidentally leaving his laptop computer behind in a hotel room in Madrid. When not flying around the planet on supercharged flyer points, Peter lives in the Wet Tropics of Queensland, amongst the local wallabies, kookaburras, and ancient rainforest
