This book, a collection of essays on Pauline theology, shows that the focal point of Paul's missionary work and theological thinking was the word of the cross, interpreted here from a pneumatological point of view and from the standpoint of the theology of justification.
The author demonstrates how this focal point of the Pauline theology develops in the Apostle's dialogue with his communities, and not only in the controversies surrounding the spirit and the law. The book deals with the essential themes of Pauline theology: from Christology and soteriology to his understanding of the Scriptures, his ecclesiology and his ethics.
