Truth in Cinders

Denise B. Tanaka is a lifelong creator of magical beings and fantastic worlds. Her short stories appeared in the anthology AlternaTEAS edited by Elizabeth Gilligan, the anthology Once Upon A World No. 7, and in SQMag (No. 17) and New Realm (Vol. 1 No. 12; Vol. 2 No. 6) magazines. She is a recipient of the 2016 Mixy Award. She works by day as a paralegal in the challenging field of immigration law and, in her spare time, she creates historical and fantasy-based costumes.
