Seven Truths About Accusation

Satan reminds us of the sin and guilt of the past. He reminds us of all our wrongdoing, of all the things that have been forgiven by God. He loves to drag things up from the past to make us feel that we will never make it. We have to leave the guilt of the past behind. If we are born again, we are forgiven and set free from the guilt of the past. Once we have repented, we can move forward because God has cleared our record. In Christ we have become the righteousness of God. It may seem obvious, but if we don't leave the past behind, we can't go forward into the future. God does not accuse us. He wants to lift us up!
