Molly Altman, PhD, CNM, MPH, FACNM is an Associate Professor at the University of Washington School of Nursing. She has published extensively in the area of reproductive health care, with a strong emphasis on anti-racism and addressing bias within health care settings. She has co-authored one book chapter and has 35 article publications, 15 of which are first author publications, ' two of which received national awards. She has 18 years of clinical practice as a nurse midwife in both pregnancy/birth and sexual/reproductive health care settings, and has taught all of these topics to advanced practice nursing students over the past 10 years as faculty.'
