Fifty-two students from the American School in Japan were inspired to explore the provocation, "Shower Thoughts." Within these pages, all students relived their memories and the emotions that were provoked; they confronted "the mess that remains no matter how hard you scrub with that loofa," as ASIJ's Associate Principal Mr. Jones writes. In various forms-braided, hermit crab, traditional, lyric, collage, and more-students uptook what they learned from class and inspirational writers, embodying author Neal Shusterman's words to write and read "outside of your comfort zone." With this anthology, we invite readers to let themselves explore their own imagination and shower thoughts.
