"Praise Poems Vol. 10" präsentiert 16 (fast) vergessene Rare-Groove-Perlen aus den Jahren 1970-1984, die - bis auf 2 Ausnahmen - alle erstmals auf Vinyl erscheinen. Ein Höhepunkt ist der Opener "Fields Of Laughter" von Color Me Blu ursprünglich auf einer Acetat-Platte veröffentlicht, von der weltweit nur zwei Exemplare existieren. Aber es gibt noch viel mehr zu entdecken: Eine grosse Bandbreite an Genres, von AOR (Whiz Kids, Ross Miller, Harve & Charee mit einem unveröffentlichten Track) über Latin-Rock á la Santana (Color Me Blue, Tribal Sinfonia, Apple) bis zu Soul-Jazz (Ernie Lewis Trio, Joe Bozzi Quintet, Frits Kaatee). Am Ende sticht das wundervolle "It's Good Not To Forget" vom George Melvin Quintet hervor, ein fabelhaft verträumtes Instrumental im Stil von Ramsey Lewis mit Ohrwurmpotenzial. So werden fast 50 Jahre alte Schätze einem neuen Publikum zugänglich gemacht.
