Mary Poppins meets Alice in Wonderland

Alice is an unlikely practical adventurer who infuses the tedious with a sense of FUN. She's the devoted nanny for twin 5-year old boys, dilligent housekeeper for their busy parents, enthusiastic writer and sunflower-daft-bee-lover. Someone once said, 'if you don't like where you are, move, you're not a tree', and so she did, several times. She has captured the hearts of children around the globe from South Africa to Italy and France, New York, Florida, Israel and currently London, United Kingdom.

A soulful madcap with a penchant for jam-stained kisses, children are her favourite human beings and she's a keeper of people. Knowing at the tender age of sixteen that she'd never have children of her own, life came to the party and gave her the best of both - extensive travel and other people's kids in abundance.

Alice's sunny temperament is the flip-side of her resilient and disciplined personality. For her, life's 'rules' are simple and you'll often hear her say, 'if it's not FUN, I'm not doing it' ... and she doesn't!

When Alice isn't exploring her world, she squirrels away in her lodgings nestled on the green side of polycentric London.

Passport, pen and paper are her constant companions.

Writing is her current Next Best Thing.
