The Grimm brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, were 19th-century German academics, linguists and writers, pioneers in the study of Germanic languages and famous for compiling folk tales such as Hansel and Gretel, Snow White and Little Red Riding Hood. Although they initially collected these stories as part of philological and cultural research, their tales became classics of children's literature around the world. - Agnese Baruzzi (1980) is the daughter of a typographer and a librarian, and has loved books for as long as she can remember.
