Kevin Payne is a loving stay-at-home dad. His first children's book, My Very Own Superhero, was inspired by his nurse wife and daughter. During this pandemic, after seeing the joy in his daughter's face when his wife arrives home after long shifts, he realized he was married to someone with superpowers. Only a superhero could care for her patients for hours and then come home and care for her family. The story is to commemorate all our "superhero" healthcare workers who continue to save the world 24-7 and still find the time and energy to be loving parents, spouses, sons, daughters, friends, and neighbors to us all.
