LoLo Smith is an educator, writer and creator of Living Storybook, a literacy and performing arts program for young children. She is also the founder of a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, Do The Write Thing of DC. She has written 8 books for children. She was born and raised in St. Louis and earned her Bachelor's at a local teacher's college there. She moved to the District of Columbia over 40 years ago. She has one adult son who is also an educator and writer.
