Lesley-Anne Heine was born in the Eastern Cape, South Africa, and is currently living in Colleen Glen in Port Elizabeth with her husband Bryan, Molly the puppy and their household manager Tabby the Cat.
When she isn't dreaming up children's stories, she loves to cook, bake, and do any kind of needlework she can lay her hands on.
This, her first book, came about as a result of one of her four granddaughters, Emma insisting she write her stories down for the many children who love to listen to her tales.
