The book is nicely edited, informative, and its chapters are of a good length with numerous nice color figures . It is an important book that is the product of the first attempt to produce a strong and balanced overview of the current state of volcano tourism research. I would say that the book reaches this goal, and I recommend the book to anyone who wishes to work on volcanic geoheritage, volcano tourism, or even in volcano geoconservation projects. As the title implies, this book, part of the `Geoheritage, Geoparks and Geotourism series, explores the relationship between volcanic landscapes and their role in volcano-based geotourism. All discussions are well referenced and supported by excellent color photographs, geologic maps, graphs, tables, and charts. The overallvalue of this book is its comprehensive, up-to-date treatment of the international volcano tourism sector. Summing Up: Highly recommended. All levels/libraries. (J. B.
