The 80-plus examples featured are survivors, all of which were built and flown in period. Full-color photos of the preserved rockets are accompanied by anecdotes on construction and flight performance, along with examples of packaging and catalog imagery.

The models featured in the book include many famous subjects from real life and science fiction such as the space shuttle, Starship Enterprise, SR-71 Blackbird, X-Wing fighter, V-2, Saturn V, and many more.
