The inevitable interaction between Orphan Braque and IDF Unit 1234-5678, newly developed by Commander ABCD Marshall, begins a snowball of bloody, sensitive, guilt-ridden events that will impact the main characters as well as potentially all mankind. Orphan's beginnings as a computer game fanatic led to the more improbable role he finds himself in as a skilled hacker who is a danger to the security of Israel. He has no social life, with limited family life, and is a poor student, but he finds companionship with other game players and hackers, calling them friends. His father, who is very worried about his son, will be quite surprised by what his son achieves by the end of this fictional story, based on subjects that may or may not exist in real life.
Orphan's love of games and computers is a double-edged sword, which both Orphan and ABCD hold on to. Their complex relationship may lead both of them to glory, each in their own way. Philosophical questions of whether the human race is doomed to destruction or if we are meant to save one another from harm might find possibly realistic answers between the lines of Orphan's Choice, some of which the main character will have to deal with in his own life-all of this found within a fascinating book combining sharp-tongued humor with a variety of expressions of love.
