Miroslav Synek has been passionate about classic cars since childhood. After retiring from the NHS, he dedicated his time to this lifelong interest, leading to the publication of his first book, Cars from My Old Country (2021), which explores Czechoslovakian cars from 1918 to 1989. A proud owner of a restored 1960 skoda Octavia, he continues to share his love for automotive history through writing and research.
