About the Author
Cari Ann Buchanan was raised in the Bay Area in Santa Clara, California. She was the oldest of 3 girls whose mother made reading a central part of their childhood. Cari passed this along to her 4 children. Lazy days and most nights were spent reading aloud; even now that they are adults, all 4 of them have a strong bond over their love of reading and sharing a good story. Cari has been excited to share reading with her three grandchildren (Amelia, Malachi and Audrey) so the love of books can move to the next generation.
Cari moved to Paso Robles, California in 1998. Cari and her husband Cory enjoy hiking and other outdoor activities, especially when water is near. Cari loves to laugh; it is probably her favorite thing to do. Nothing is as great as sharing laughter with others. She feels reading can be the greatest adventure and invites you to explore the funny stories that spill through her mind.
