I know nothing about Kundalini Yoga. If you were to ask me how to perform mū labandha, I would look at you blankly. I cannot, nor can anyone else for that matter, comprehend the essence of yoga. Yoga must unveil itself beyond your understanding. The goddess herself, just like you, does not know the way; she simply is the way. The way must repeatedly unfold each time according to the nature of your own heart. You are the one who must discover the way, new and full of life. I was born in Salzburg, Austria, where I grew up with a deep longing to glimpse the mystery behind the visible world. I started practicing Tai Chi as a child, and by sixteen I was spending time alone in the forest-meditating, dreaming, just listening. There were no teachers in my village. Nature became my first guide. That love for the Earth led me to study environmental engineering and limnology, but then yoga kept calling me back. Eventually, I returned to the practice that had always been quietly with me. I studied a gentle, heartfelt approach to Kundalini Yoga with Svā mī Vidjanand, a student of Svā mī Satyā nanda. Later, I continued my path with Rainer, a teacher and friend in the tradition of Dhī rendra Brahmacā rī . I'm also a long-time student of the Kashmir Ś aiva tradition as taught by Mark Dyczkowski and Svā mī Lakshman Joo. In 2016, I opened my yoga studio in Vienna-my home and heart. Today, I guide students both locally and across Europe, exploring yoga not just as a practice, but as a living mystery. Thank you for being here. I'm honored to share these teachings with you. May the great heart guide you. More about us: www. yogamatsya. com
