which debuted on the Disney Channel on March 24, 2006. Created by
Michael Poryes, Richard Correll and Barry O'Brien, the program follows
the life of a teenage girl who lives a double life as an average teenage
school girl named Miley Stewart (played by Miley Cyrus) by day and a
famous pop singer named Hannah Montana by night, concealing her real
identity from everyone else, except for her family and a few close
friends. Season 3 premiered on November 2, 2008, and ended on March 14,
2010. The show has been renewed for a fourth and final season, and new
episodes have been ordered by Disney. As of August 8, 2010, 90 original
episodes of the series have aired.
