L. Hamilton White is the Curator and Head Restorer at the Royal Bogglington Hollow Museum. Born in Kingston Upon Thames, she holds an Honours Degree in Design and specialises in restoring artefacts of a peculiar nature. She is best known for uncovering the long-lost documents of the Sleepy Hedgehog Society - an eccentric mid-century organisation devoted to the observation of village oddities, tea-related incidents and other unexplainable matters of importance. Her finds are presented as reproductions of the original artefacts: creased, quietly mysterious, and filled with field notes, biscuit-fuelled minutes and ghostly mutterings. These editions have been embraced by collectors across the globe through a series of successfully crowdfunded releases, each edition recognised as 'Projects We Love.'Described as a blend of Raymond Briggs, Edward Gorey and Beatrix Potter, the Sleepy Hedgehog Society offers quiet companionship to those who suspect something peculiar is going on behind the rhubarb patch. When not restoring and archiving damaged Society papers (a task she takes extremely seriously, despite regular interference from ghosts, temperamental post and outspoken garden gnomes), L. Hamilton White is also the author of 'The Curator's Diary - a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the rediscovery of the Sleepy Hedgehog Society archives.
