One Flesh

One Flesh is a story set in Germany shortly after the Armistice that ended World War I. Maria, the daughter
of a wealthy anti-Semitic industrialist, meets Avraham, a Jewish chemistry professor who recently returned from the war. They become friends and eventually fall in love. The story follows their lives and those of both families from their initial meeting through the end of World War II and beyond.
