A Girl ExtraordiNary is a children's book is made with great love for our dear little ones aged 8-12. It features beautiful adventures with valuable life lessons and reflections to inspire our youngsters, who will enjoy reading and learning at the same time. There's a games workshop at the end.
Nary collects threads in a little bag. They are the threads of the war she endured during her childhood in her country, the Kingdom of Cambodia. The threads marked her personal development to become a survivor, scientist and Olympian.
This children's book is based on the memoir The Nary Ly Story: Survivor, Scientist, Olympian - How a child of the Killing Fields ran an Olympic marathon and inspired her broken nation.
