Steven Auerbach has been following the spiritual path he writes about here for the last fifty-five years. It all begins for him with an instantaneous flash that the entire universe is the infinite body of God. . . Before he was thirty, he took vows of monkhood and was given the monastic name Swami Sadananda, which means "ever blissful." Seven years later, without leaving his spiritual path or dropping the daily practices of meditation and service, Steve embarked on another phase of life in which, ultimately, he married, had children, finished college, and became a doctor of chiropractic. Now retired after more than three decades as a successful chiropractor, Steve writes about this journey in which he continues to integrate his life with a deep spiritual understanding.
