T. A. Alexander, originally from the Catskill Mountains in New York State, has spent her life passionately caring for the welfare of animals. She has held roles such as veterinary technician, animal adoption counselor with the National Humane Education Society, and various positions at horse farms, rescues, and horse boarding facilities. Currently living in rural South Dakota, Alexander and her husband Bruce share their lives with two horses, three dogs, several cats, and frequently foster animals in need of temporary care. Alexander works as a professional caregiver at a skilled nursing facility and is pursuing Chaplaincy certification.
