Teresa Angeles is a mother of six, grandmother of eight, an experienced Montessori-certified teacher for children two to twelve years old, and a past homeschooler. She has a master's degree in education with an emphasis in Montessori from the TIES Institute at Endicott College. In the school setting, she has worked with hundreds of families with infants, toddlers, and children. For over twenty-five years, her work in family ministry led her to co-facilitate five-day overnight retreats for teens, assisting in wilderness adventures; and organize teen mission trips to Mexico with her children and others. Her passionate love for children, youth, and families has cultivated a mission of service and education. She continues to create resources to help parents navigate the challenging years of raising children based on the transformative principles of Montessori and other helpful approaches. She firmly advocates that parents believe in themselves and follow their dreams. Designing a home and lifestyle where families can flourish is invaluable, even if those dreams are out of the ordinary. Residing in the picturesque Pacific Northwest, Teresa operates a Montessori tutoring business, focusing on reading and writing. She enjoys consulting with parents and conducting seminars on how to teach children to read the Montessori way. Her personal joys include spending time with family and community, hiking, singing, playing music, gardening, and celebrating cultural traditions. She desires to share her knowledge with parents around the world to improve children's lives everywhere.
