ABOUT THE AUTHOR
WILLIAM F. BROWN
With the addition of Burke's Justice, I am the author of twenty-four books now available on Kindle in e-book, paperback, hardback, and most in audiobook. Five are boxed sets and four are my critically acclaimed Our Vietnam Wars series of interviews and stories with 240 Vietnam vets about their experiences before, during, and after the war. All of my fifteen novels are available in audiobooks and have been translated into German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. Paperback and Hardback editions are available from Amazon and IngramSpark. Manga Comic Books? Maybe next year.
A native of the south side of Chicago, I received a BA from The University of Illinois in History and Russian Area studies, and a master's in city planning. I served as a Company Commander in the US Army in Vietnam and became active in local and regional politics. As a Vice President of the real estate subsidiary of a Fortune 500 corporation, I traveled widely in Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, China, South America, the Caribbean, and the Middle East, locations which have featured in my writing. I play bad golf, have become a dogged runner, and paint passable landscapes in oil and acrylic. Retired, my wife and I live in Florida.
In addition to the novels and four non-fiction books, I've written four award-winning screenplays. They've placed First in the suspense category of Final Draft, were a Finalist in Fade In, First in Screenwriter's Utopia - Screenwriter's Showcase Awards, Second in the American Screenwriter's Association, Second at Breckenridge, and others. One was optioned for film.
