"Advances in Environmental Hydraulics" addresses contemporary challenges in water systems by integrating hydrodynamics, environmental processes, and sustainable engineering solutions. This Special Issue covers topics such as the impacts of climate change on hydrology, environmental flows, pollutant transport, eco-hydraulics, hydraulic roughness, scour protection, hydropower efficiency, and nonlinear wave dynamics. Emphasis is placed on advanced numerical modeling, experimental and field studies, and innovative design strategies that enhance system efficiency, safety, and ecological performance. Collectively, the 15 contributions included in this Special Issue demonstrate how environmental hydraulics supports the resilient and sustainable management of rivers, coasts, reservoirs, and hydraulic infrastructure under increasing climatic and anthropogenic pressures.
