My Book of Monsters

IneDe Volder is a creative jack-of-all-trades. In addition to her work as akindergarten teacher and author, she is constantly looking for new ways torealize her dreams and ideas. In the past, Ine participated in a magazine fortoddlers, wrote children's poetry, and made a number of educational editionsfor schools.

MaartenArys studied illustration at the Saint Lucas Art Institute in Ghent, Belgium.When a local newspaper, the De Morgen, commissioned him to complete severalillustrations, it resulted in a long-term collaboration. More recently, Maartenhas begun illustrating children’s books. He enjoys working with traditionalmaterials, such as watercolor paint, gouache paint, and colored pencils.
