Oleander is a member belonging to Apocynaceae family. It is a herb with different colored flowers and is suited for dry locality. This plant is cultivated as an ornamental plant in tropical and subtropical parts of the world. Used traditionally by herbalists as a folk remedy for a wide variety of conditions, including dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, sores, warts, corns, ringworm, scabies, herpes, skin cancer, asthma, dysmenorrheal, epilepsy, malaria, abortifacients, heart tonics, leprosy and tumors.
