Am Beispiel des Distrikts Ituri untersucht Alex Veit die Mikropolitik von Krieg und humanitärer Intervention. Er zeigt, warum die historisch gewachsene Machtstruktur von den internationalen Helfern, trotz ihrer reformerischen Absichten, nicht überwunden werden kann.
