Outcast is the second part of the prequel to the Starcrossed series. And like every single book in the Starcrossed series, this one was also a reading highlight. For me, this series is an absolute feel-good read, even if the story is really heartbreaking and bloody at times. Despite all this, it's still a pleasure to come home. I really liked the many POVs that Outcast had, allowing the reader to really get a sense of many of the characters, even the "supporting" characters. I probably love the prequel story and characters a little more than the original story.
To sum it up: Josie has written another heartbreaking but beautiful book that everyone who loves Greek mythology should read!
