detailed discography for American country music artist Martina McBride.
She has released a total of 9 studio albums, 3 compilation albums, and
has placed 50 singles on the country charts. Spending about seven years
in Nashville, following arranging a demo tape, McBride was signed to RCA
Nashville Records in 1991. The following year, she released her first
single, "My Baby Loves Me" (a Top 25 country hit) and her debut album
shortly after, The Time Has Come. For about four to five years, McBride
had a series of Top 10 hits and was marketed as a Neo-Traditionalist
country artist with such hits as "Independence Day," "Safe in the Arms
of Love," and "Wild Angels" (her first #1). Her next two albums
following her debut, The Way That I Am and Wild Angels were each
certified Platinum in sales by the Recording Industry Association of
America.
