Als Mitbegründer des Swing feierte Benny Goodman mit seiner Big-Band in den 30er Jahren große Erfolge. Durch die Hingabe und den Perfektionismus, wie er die Musik spielte, machte er sich auch international einen Namen. 1986 starb Benny Goodman. Fast sein gesamtes Leben hat er der Music gewidmet.
