Mit PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: SALAZARS RACHE kommt am 25. 05. der fünften Teil der populären Filmreihe Fluch der Karibik in die Kinos. Johnny Depp schlüpft erneut in seine Oscar®-nominierte Rolle als verwegener Antiheld Captain Jack Sparrow und bekommt mit Oscar®-Gewinner Javier Bardem und Geoffrey Rush neue und altbekannte Gesichter an die Seite gestellt. Der Soundtrack zum neuen Film stammt aus der Feder vom Komponist und Emmy Award® Preisträger Geoff Zanelli, der bereits gemeinsam mit Hans Zimmer an den vorherigen vier PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN-Filmen gearbeitet hat. Zanelli ist einer der bedeutsamsten Komponisten in der TV- und Filmmusik Industrie und wirkte schon bei diversen Hollywood Produktionen mit, u. a. Lone Ranger, Last Samurai und Pearl Harbor. Der Soundtrack mit 17 Tracks erscheint am 26. 5. 2017 als physische Standard CD und als digitales eAlbum. Zum Film: Dem vom Glück verlassenen Captain Jack Sparrow weht eine steife Brise des Missgeschicks entgegen, als tödliche Seemänner aus der Schattenwelt, angeführt vom furchterregenden Captain Salazar, dem Teufelsdreieck entkommen und nur ein Ziel kennen: jeden Piraten auf offener See zu töten, insbesondere Jack. Seine einzige Überlebenshoffnung ist den legendären Dreizack des Poseidon zu finden.
