The author Martin Kari writes many different kinds of books which many different kind of people like to read. Martin was born many years ago in 'Dracula Country' of Romania, in 1941. After meeting his Finnish Wife Arja and having 3 boys and 3 girls they lived and worked in countries mainly of Europe, Africa and South America. In 1981 the family came to Australia where they have been living ever since. The author and his wife are now also grandparents from where they partly drew on their experience, when writing "A Weekend at Granny's Pet House". He hopes that the book helps children of also today experience a happy childhood from a slightly different perspective.
