This project came about after the author had worked to help her four-year-old memorize scripture verses from the Holy Bible. Then when asked to recite the verse, he would proudly proclaim, "Georgie Porgie, puddin' pie, kissed the girls and made them cry!" That nursery rhyme was so easily and permanently implanted in his thinking from just hearing it a few times. How much better would it be if we planted seeds of God's Word into the minds of our children and ourselves, instead of silly nursery rhymes? So, this book was born-nursery rhyme-style verses based in scripture. Those who know scriptures will recognize them in these verses. Those who don't know these scriptures yet will learn them, and will recognize them later as they read or hear God's Word.
