Europa - Moon of Jupiter

Of all the places in the solar system beyond Earth, one world stands out as the most compelling candidate for harbouring life today. It is not Mars, whose liquid water vanished billions of years ago and whose surface is blasted by radiation. It is not Titan, whose extraordinary organic chemistry plays out in liquid methane at − 179°C rather than in the water that life as we know it requires. It is not Enceladus, though Enceladus is close. The single best candidate the world that checks the most boxes for life, that has the right solvent, the right energy sources, the right chemistry, in a configuration most analogous to the environments on Earth where life thrives in the absence of sunlight is Europa.
