World Ambush

Strange, ghoulish, wraithlike, crystalline, vampire, fanged, tentacled, distorted weird, freakish, reptilian, morphogenic, symbiont, hydrozoan, siphonophore,   spiked, horned, crownlike, polycephalous, polymerous, medusan, monster-these are examples of the images reported of aliens in the news and variously depicted on-screen, in literature, and in folklore. But aliens with the likeness of human beings, or humanoids, are noted for their characteristically nuanced or not-so-subtle nonhuman emotional expressions and behavioral tendencies. They are either good or bad and rarely ditheistic-capable of both good and bad, much less complex individuals, plagued by inner conflict-at once good and bad at the very same time.

Age Range: 13-18. World Ambush tells the story of Earth slipping towards domination by a galactic empire ruled by obscure celestial beings. At its heart is the journey of twins, a baby boy and a girl, secretly brought to Earth and raised in an apple pie middle-class household, who soon find themselves ensnared in the galactic battle to establish dominion on Earth. Are there beings like us on other planets in other realms of this vast universe. ? Probably.
It would seem absurd to assume the human race is the only one of its kind in this vast infinite universe, created by an omnipotent God.
Matthew 19:26 reads, "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
And the assumption that inhabitants of our kind exist solely on earth seems ridiculous on its face, just based on the science and random probability that they exist elsewhere. We are abysmally uninformed, and our breakthroughs and amazing discoveries are infinitesimal against the backdrop of this vast universe.
Written over 14years, World Ambush is a tale about celestial beings of obscure origins who lay claim to Earth, endeavoring to possess it. Often faced with difficult ethical choices, the Ivwops, possessing distinctly human qualities coupled with extraordinary powers, came into direct contact with inhabitants of other planets, who they soon came to dominate. Their ceaseless forays eventually led them to Earth's civilization, which became the object of their avarice and soon the object of their loathing. All of these dynamics play out in the story of an evil empire's quest to establish dominion on Earth. Pivotal to its outcome are two babies, a boy and a girl, spirited away from this galactic empire and adopted and raised in a quiet Maryland suburb in the United States.
As they grow older, Aaron and Sonya eventually discover their true identity but find themselves ensnared in a battle to annex Earth.
World Ambush weaves a daunting tale of horror and fear in the face of loss while being relentlessly pursued by evil, in a struggle against the most formidable powers in the galaxy, all in the middle of an apocalyptic threat the world has never known.
