Incoming Tide

Kindly old Rev Pewsworthy wants only to restore
relationships. He oversteps the mark with Bob, but
without understanding the problem the outcome is
disastrous: the repercussions could not have been imagined. As
his cat Bos'un observed: "Bob didn't mean to do it. Do humans
ever think of the consequences?"
And what will become of Sue? Emotionally unstable, she is
in no position to make right judgements, hovering between
the old and the new. Who knows what will happen next? In
the meantime, the young man to replace the vicar comes on
the scene, and romance soon blossoms. Thank God for some
stability!
'Incoming Tide' then is the story of imperfect humans trying
their best to make their way though life. Both foolishness and
wisdom play their part as the power of the elements tosses
them for better or worse.
This novel is a continuation of Olive Clarke's previous books:
'The Blessing of the Sun', 'The Golden Claw', and 'The Homecoming'.
Although sequential, each story will stand successfully on its own.
