Kindly old Rev Pewsworthy wants only to restore relationships. 'Incoming Tide' then is the story of imperfect humans trying their best to make their way though life. Both foolishness and wisdom play their part as the power of the elements tosses them for better or worse. This novel is a continuation of Olive Clarke's previous books: 'The Blessing of the Sun', 'The Golden Claw', and 'The Homecoming'. Although sequential, each story will stand successfully on its own.
