The Connection

After starting a matchmaking business with her best friend, life is finally getting easier for Gisela. Then she meets Auri.

Born with supernatural abilities, Gisela has never been a typical girl from Berlin. Guided by her Oma, she has been trying to develop her gift for reading people's emotions and thoughts.

When the opportunity strikes for her and her close friend Sophia to leave their corporate jobs, the pair jump at the chance. Their new dating agency piques the interest of Gisela's childhood friends, who quickly join in to help.

But when they insist that a group of foreigners from their homeland join the agency, Gisela and Sophia become suspicious of their friends' true motives.

Captivated by the handsome newcomer Auri, Gisela realizes that her gifts don't allow her to see into the minds of the group of strangers. They also can't protect her from the hypnotic pull of Auri's words.

As Gisela wrestles with uncertainties about both her past and future, she begins to uncover a mystery that throws everything she's ever known into question. Unable to trust even her Oma, she must rely on her own abilities and the help of Sophia to discover who and what the newcomers really are.

But as the answers to her questions threaten to reveal the truth about her own past, Gisela must decide whether to press forward or heed the warnings telling her to stop searching.
