Chouette Publishing first published Caillou books in 1990, and the character went on to become the well-loved hero of the popular television series. They are located in Montreal, Quebec. Pierre Brignaud is the illustrator of numerous Caillou stories, including Baby Caillou, I'm Growing; Caillou: Be Careful!; Caillou: Happy Thanksgiving!; Caillou: I Can Brush My Teeth; and Caillou: Potty Time. Eric Sévigny is a graphic artist and the illustrator of several Caillou titles, including Caillou: Fresh from the Farm, Caillou Learns to Recycle, Caillou: The Magic of Compost, and Caillou: My First Coloring Book. They both live in Montreal, Quebec.
