Present-day New York City contains the largest population of supernatural creatures in the USA. Life is balanced between good and evil-until humans start showing up dead; a supernatural serial killer is on the loose.
Unknown to the supernatural world, Samara, a small-town reporter turned big-city journalist, is looking for her shot at a career break by solving these murders. Samara's world revolves around journalism, and she's content with her life. Deep down, however, she feels something is missing.
Until she meets Rowan.
Rowan, second in command to the leader of the Fallen Angels, is tasked with this manhunt. He's determined to find the killer, bring them to justice, and restore balance between good and evil. Rowan is a professional, never letting anything get in the way of serving his people.
Until he meets Samara.
