A lifetime of storytelling, Danny has been at it since the age of nine, when his fifth grade teacher awarded him two roles in the class play along with the very important job of "turning the microphone on before we open the curtain." From there, he moved into the world of magic & illusion, musical theatre, theme parks, and educational theatre. He taught theatre in the Ft. Lauderdale area for 26 years. He is now a working actor who can now be seen in commercials, movies, television shows, and heard in many voice-overs around the world. Slowik has written award-winning plays and has recently turned his attention to young readers with the "Danny Detective" series and his upcoming "I'm Proud of Me" series.Danny's personal focus on education and self-improvement is not limited to teaching. He firmly believes and is committed to lifelong learning. He holds degrees from the University of Central Florida, University of Miami (Go 'Canes!), and the University of West Florida.
