The author was born in a small alpine village in central South Europe and demonstrated a vivid imagination and passion for writing at a very young age. As a young adult, she moved to Switzerland, where she still resides, for work. Travelling around the world and visiting exotic and occasionally dangerous places, especially in Africa and the Middle East, greatly inspired the author while writing this book. Many chapters were created on long night flights or sitting in small café s and picturesque little restaurants in some of the most amazing places around the globe. Her motto is, 'Nothing is impossible if you have the will and courage.'
