It's very well written from both POVs (Willa and Cade) from the first person which helps me a lot to understand these characters in their thoughts, feelings and interactions.
Cade is grumpy and totally understandable after getting to know his backstory. A single dad "alone" on a farm doing all this hard work and having all these struggles with his ex wife... It simply isn't easy for sure. I felt him reliable in every single interaction. Yes, his stubborn, grumpy but also a very nice guy with a heart full of love. He only needed someone to get him out of his shell.
Willa, oh Willa! The hurricane Willa arrived at the Wish Well Ranch and conquered all hearts. She's a troublemaker but still responsible (that exists). She's all bite when it touches one of hers. She's fierce even when she's going with the flow.
She's loveable and sweet. Her heart is on her tongue and I absolutely loved her. She's all the package. But even she has her own demons to overcome. I felt her as a deep and reliable character. I could always understand her actions, feelings and felt it right away.
Both (Willa & Cade) went through a lot in their lifes and evolved emotionally as individuals and as a couple.
The spice levels hight up with all the banter and denied desire for each other. I liked that too. It's natural and reliable for this kind of relationship.
Harvey is the greatest with his inuendus. He makes the book so much funnier.
Conclusion
Loved the interactions and reactions. It's a sweet love story with reliable characters.
