Enno Lenze, born in 1982, grew up in France, Rwanda, and Germany. After completing an apprenticeship as an IT systems specialist, he worked as a systems administrator for high-availability systems. In 2014, he took over the Berlin Story Bunker and transformed it into a venue for modern history education, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually, including ambassadors, state guests, and NATO military personnel. Together with Wieland Giebel, he organized Historial, Europe s largest history festival. Since the start of Russia s full-scale invasion, Lenze has traveled to Ukraine nearly every month, bringing back drones and captured items from the front lines to analyze them in the bunker s workshop. He and Giebel established the Ukraine Museum in Berlin.
